American Indian Rocker Blotter
2" high x 5" long x 3" deep
As a result of the growing national interest in Native Americans, Tiffany Studios produced the "American Indian" pattern desk set which was heavily inspired by the Native Americans connection to nature. Pieces of this pattern displayed either a relief of a stylized owl or frog, with the exception of the paper knife and reading glass. However, frogs and owls never appeared on the same piece.
This Tiffany Studios "American Indian" rocker blotter is impressed with abstract lines depicting Southwestern Native American blanket decorations with two symmetrically placed frogs in relief, in gilt bronze. Signed and numbered.
