The gilt bronze Venetian Desk Set produced by Tiffany Studios in the early 20th century offered a desk clock in two different size options. The stately example seen here was the larger of the two options produced by the company and features larger surface area to showcase the elaborate scrolling Renaissance-style decoration for which the Venetian Desk Set is so revered by Tiffany collectors.

The stepped base of the clock features a frieze-like row of sculptural ermine.

This desk clock features a Tiffany & Co. clock face and is signed on the reverse with the Tiffany Studios stamp and model number.
