Rare Autumn Leaves Table Lamp

An extremely rare Tiffany Lamp, comprising an unusual 10-inch diameter Autumn Leaves Ball shade on a rare Artichoke Table Base.

One of only a handful of extant examples of this model, the shade depicts swirling leaves in the vibrant shades of autumn, ranging from deep green streaked with the first touches of orange and yellow to deep amber and red hues. These leaded glass leaves stand out against a background of pale blue glass with hints of orange and green throughout, giving the impression of layers of fall foliage against a soft autumn sky.

The shade is paired with an elegant bronze Artichoke Table Base in a rich brown patina. Both the shade and the base of this early and rare original Tiffany lamp are signed.

A period photograph of this design was included in an album used internally by the company to document early Tiffany Lamp designs.
