This large and elaborate ceiling fixture in the Moorish taste was likely produced by Tiffany Studios for a custom commission in the first years of the 20th century.

In this example, six gold iridescent Tiffany Favrile Glass "Tulip" Shades are suspended from an elaborate system of graduated chains and patinated bronze balls in the Aesthetic taste. This arrangement of Tiffany glass and metalwork is suspended from an elaborately detailed crown formed by sections of intricately twisted wirework, typical of the metalwork produced during the early years at Tiffany Studios.
