An early Tiffany Studios leaded glass and bronze table lamp comprising a geometric "Swirling Leaf" design shade. The upper portion of the shade is formed by gridded Tiffany glass in shades of mottled variegated green. At the center of the shade, a horizontal band depicts a series of swirling branches with curved leaves in various configurations articulated in striated green-white glass against a background of mottled deep yellow. The lower portion of the shade is formed by alternating rows of mottled green and yellow glass. This Tiffany shade features the original decorative beaded bronze rim at the crown, indicating that it dates from the early period of Tiffany’s lamp production.

The shade sits on a three-armed bronze "Urn" table base, the leading and bronze finish in a rich brown patina. This design was originally intended to run on oil fuel, and was converted in the period to electricity.

This original early Tiffany lamp is signed on both the shade and the base.
