Remembering Nina R. Gray (1956-2013)
May 2013
Nina was a great friend to the gallery, who selflessly shared her expertise on innumerable occasions. Her contributions to the scholarship in the work of Tiffany Studios and Louis C. Tiffany have been immeasurable, and she has set the bar for years to come.
To us she will always remain the “Tiffany Girl” extraordinaire, our very own Clara Driscoll.
She will be missed by all who were fortunate to have known her.

Dragonflies: Nature's Drones, Pretty and Deadly
April 2, 2013
"They look dainty, glittery and fun, but dragonflies are also brutally effective hunters."
Check out this article in the April 2, 2013 issue of The New York Times about one of nature's deadliest predators: the dragonfly. Unlike the African Lion or the Great White Shark, who catch their prey only 25-50% of the time, the dragonfly has a success rate of over 95% while catching moving targets in midair.
After finishing the article, we have to say we prefer Tiffany's dragonflies to the real thing: all of the beauty with none of the bite! Click Here to see some examples of the dragonflies of Tiffany Studios, including our charming 14" Dragonfly Table Lamp.
